In this project, you learn about how to use complexity of lines and patterns balanced with calm and color, can provide a successful composition. Just like life, we need: freedom + structure, stress + calm, high energy + sleep. How will you show that you get this:Monday, 1.28.19 - Friday, 2.1.19 (Deadline Friday)
-Check for class each day. -You are working on the Zentangle Watercolor Project. Click here for further details. - By Tuesday, you should be done with watercolor and drawing the textures and patterns with a micron pen. - By Block day, you should have textures and patterns drawn in at least 70%. - No school Friday, Feb. 1 -By next Monday, project is due on your website. You should have all textures and patterns drawn in, and take a photo of the piece, upload to website under Portfolio and Artist Statements. Write up an artist statement based on this format but I want to hear about the "Why" of this piece. What did you discover about balance?

Just like life, we need: freedom + structure, stress + calm, high energy + sleep. How will you demonstrate this learning?Tuesday, 1.22.19- Friday, 1.25.19 -Do the warm up for today. (Slide 14) -Begin working on your three thumbnails for this composition. Use colored pencil for the design. Remember to meet the requirements of the project. Then pick one thumbnail design and begin working. -By block day, you should have the composition sketched out using a light graphite pencil. -By Friday, watercolor splashed should be laid out.
