WHY SHOULD YOU CARE:YOU WILL TELL ME TODAY: - - - - HOW WILL YOU DEMONSTRATE YOU GET THIS:Monday, 2.25.19 -As a family we will get together and discuss how this projects relates to life...the "why" of this project. At your tables, please discuss with each other: 1. How does the idea of painting three layers of paint relate to life? Give us examples. 2. How does painting over your entire image with black relate to life? Give your group examples. 3. How does washing off the black relates to life? Give us examples. Afterwards, get on your website and answer those questions under your future project title Tempera Batik. I want to hear your words on why this is relevant to life. Secondly, you will look up one artist who does this technique and add it in to your page, add one of their pieces, a link to their portfolio and why you chose them. Studio time. Project is due Friday. Congratulate Madison Smith for having her charcoal Self Portrait accepted into the Denver Public Schools High School art show. The showcase will be on March 21, 5-7pm at the Wellington Webb Building, downtown Denver. Madison, you need to have your piece matted and ready for delivery by March 4. Tuesday, 2.26.19
